CCS in key developing countries

The international deployment of CCS raises many challenges related to the willingness of developing states to take on emissions reduction objectives. This theme examines the potential of CCS as a mitigation option in major groups of developing countries (large rapidly developing countries such as China, India, Brazil and South Africa); the financing and regulation of CCS in developing countries; the place of CCS in national development, energy and climate policies.
